SILV0 Range

A silicone closed-cell sponge made in 6 different densities (150 Kg/m³ to 600 Kg/m³) or a solid version (70° Shore A hardness), certified to the highest standards of flame retardancy. The materials are approved and compliant to European EN 45545-2 and American NFPA 130 fire and smoke safety specifications, as well as being flame-resistant to UL94V0. These features are not only used in rail interiors, aircraft and other forms of public transport but have recently been utilised in the ever-growing EV Battery Technologies industry.

Silex and MVQ have extensive experience of supplying world-wide car and battery manufacturers with special flame-retardant solutions used in these applications. We can extrude special profiles, produce sheeting in various thicknesses or fabricate gaskets and strips for any purpose you can think of.
